What Are Exosomes?
Exosomes are tiny vesicles — approximately 30–150 nanometres in diameter — released by cells as part of their normal communication processes. They carry a cargo of growth factors, cytokines, mRNA, microRNA and proteins that instruct recipient cells to behave in specific ways: to proliferate, differentiate, repair or regenerate. The Purasomes range uses bovine-derived exosomes, which carry a highly concentrated regenerative signal that stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, reduces inflammation, and accelerates cellular turnover.
Unlike PRP, which uses your own growth factors, exosome therapy delivers a highly concentrated, standardised dose of regenerative signals. Bovine-derived exosomes are selected for their potency, consistency and well-characterised growth factor profile.
