CryoPen® precision cryotherapy is coming soon to skintap. It uses a focused, controlled freezing technique that may be considered for selected benign skin lesions following a thorough consultation and assessment.
This is not a diagnosis service and it is not suitable for every mark or lesion. Nurse Heather will assess suitability, explain the possible treatment pathway and advise when a GP or dermatology assessment is the safer next step.
Concerns Treated
Launching soon
Precise freezing. Thoughtful assessment.
Cryotherapy works by applying cold precisely to a selected area. The aim is to treat appropriate benign lesions while minimising impact on the surrounding skin. Every plan will be consultation-led, with realistic expectations, aftercare guidance and individual suitability at its centre.
Assessment first
Every area will be reviewed before any treatment is considered.
Focused approach
A targeted method designed for selected, superficial benign lesions.
Safety-led care
If something needs medical review, the right next step is referral — not treatment.
What may be suitable
Benign lesions only
After assessment, CryoPen® may be considered for selected benign concerns such as skin tags, cherry angiomas, seborrhoeic keratoses, solar lentigines and some warts or verrucae. Suitability depends on the lesion, its location, your skin and medical history.
A note on expectations
The number of sessions, healing response and visible outcome vary. A consultation will cover what can reasonably be expected, possible temporary skin changes and aftercare before you decide whether to proceed.
Important safety information
We do not treat suspicious or changing lesions.
Please see your GP promptly if a mole or lesion is new, changing in size, shape or colour, bleeding, crusting, itchy, painful, inflamed or not healing. CryoPen® is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, skin cancer screening or dermatology care.
